Why this one
This is the capsule for the days nobody photographs.
For a long time I only got dressed properly when something was happening. If nothing was happening I stayed in whatever I had slept in, told myself it did not matter, and then felt worse by eleven. It was not vanity, and it was not laziness. It was that ordinary days had no outfit, so they got no decision, so they got nothing.
What changed was not motivation. It was having a small set of clothes where every piece went with every other piece, so getting dressed stopped being a question. That is all a capsule is. Not a smaller wardrobe. A wardrobe with the deciding already done.
This one is navy, denim and soft blue because cool colouring gets so little built for it. Everything postpartum comes in beige and camel and dusty rose, and if you are somebody who looks better in navy than in brown, in silver than in gold, you have been quietly told for two years that nothing is for you. This is for you. And every piece in it either opens, crosses over, unbuttons or lifts, because a top you cannot feed in is not a top, it is a problem.
You do not have to own any of it to use it. The shapes are deliberately ordinary, so you can find them in your own wardrobe and in any shop at any price. What you are buying is the arrangement, not the shopping list.
The outfits
Thirty outfits, laid out piece by piece, so there is nothing left to picture.
Four of the thirty, as they appear in the guide. Every one comes with the formula, the kind of day it suits, how it opens for a feed, and the one detail that makes it look deliberate rather than thrown on.
The cold school runNavy and white striped top + slate quilted gilet + black leggings + black chelsea boots + grey crossbody bag
The cami and cardigan dayWhite nursing cami + grey-blue ribbed cardigan + mid-blue straight jeans + white trainers + navy backpack
Cream at the neckCream crew knit + blue-grey ribbed scarf + slate quilted gilet + navy slim trousers + black chelsea boots
The wide-leg trouser dayChambray shirt + blue-grey wide-leg trousers + midnight blazer + black chelsea bootsWhat you get
Forty-odd pages, and not one of them filler.
Three of the 39
Mid-blue straight jeansThe most worn piece here
Black leggingsThe everyday bottom
Navy slim trousersSmarter than leggings, just as forgiving
Then the same capsule on a real body, not a hanger.
Flat lays tell you what the pieces are. They do not tell you where a hem lands or how a waistband sits when you are four months in and still soft in the middle. So the same outfits come again, worn, further into the guide.
And if you want to go further than that, Anah will put you into any of the thirty. Three of those come with the guide.
The palette
Twelve cool shades that never argue with each other
Keep one dark, one mid and one pale in every outfit. Three blue-greys stacked together reads as a uniform you did not choose; navy with chambray and a cream knit reads as a decision. On the days you have no decision left in you, that one habit does the work for you.
The part paper cannot do
You do not have to imagine it on yourself. She will show you.
Every guide opens as a private page as well as a PDF. On that page, under any outfit, there is a button. Add one photograph of yourself and Anah puts you in that outfit: your face, your hair, your body and your room exactly as they are, and only the clothes changed.
Three of those come with the guide, free. Most mamas tell me it is the part they could never do in their own head at seven in the morning.

Four ways to use this, depending on how much of the evening you have left.
Nothing here is a rule you have to obey. It is a starting point, so the blank page is somebody else’s problem.
