A beach day or pool morning with a baby is already a production: sunscreen, snacks, swim diapers, shade. The last thing you need is a swimsuit you have to peel down to feed; nursing swimwear opens instead.
Nursing-friendly swimwear solves that with drop-down cups, pull-aside necklines or tankini tops you can lift. With the right suit, you can feed under an umbrella and get right back in the water.
Here are the nursing and nursing-friendly swimsuits on Amazon I’d look at, with notes on how each one handles feeding.
What to look for in nursing swimwear
- Easy access: drop-down cups, a stretchy V-neck you can ease aside, or a two-piece top you can lift.
- Real support: wire-free cups or removable padding that still hold you.
- Tummy coverage if you want it: ruching, skirts or high-rise bottoms.
- Quick-drying fabric: so you’re not sitting in a soggy suit while you feed.
- Current sizing: buy for your nursing bust, which may be bigger than before baby.
My nursing swimsuit picks
1. CUPSHE Nursing-Friendly Swimsuit
CUPSHE is one of the most-reviewed swimwear brands on Amazon, and this suit came up first in my nursing swimsuit search with more than 35,000 reviews and a 4.6 rating.
It’s a good pick if you want a suit that looks like regular swimwear but still works for feeds at the pool.
Good to know: CUPSHE isn’t a nursing brand, so look closely at the neckline in the photos and make sure it can be eased aside or lowered comfortably.
2. Eomenie Nursing Swimsuit
Eomenie’s suit has nearly 20,000 reviews, which tells you a lot of moms have tried it. A nursing-friendly suit keeps you covered while still giving you access up top.
It’s a nice option for moms who like full coverage at the beach.
Good to know: Check the size chart against your bust measurement, not your usual dress size.
3. Summer Mae Nursing Swimsuit
Summer Mae makes maternity and nursing swimwear, and this suit has thousands of reviews. Buying from a brand that designs for pregnancy and breastfeeding usually means the fit has more room where you need it.
A good pick if you’re swimming through pregnancy and want one suit for both seasons.
Good to know: Look at the listing to see how feeding access works before your first beach day.
4. Blooming Jelly Swimsuit
Blooming Jelly is known for tummy-control swimwear, and this suit has a 4.4 rating from thousands of reviewers. Tummy control can feel reassuring when your midsection is still settling after birth.
Pair it with a cover-up for easy feeds on the sand.
Good to know: Tummy-control fabric is snug by design. If you’re still healing, choose comfort over compression and check with your provider if anything feels tender.
5. Holipick Swimsuit
Holipick’s suit has a 4.5 rating and came up in my nursing swimsuit search. It’s a good mid-range option if you want something flattering and practical for splash pads and pool days.
Look for a neckline that eases aside without much effort.
Good to know: Check the photos and the most recent reviews for how the top opens for feeding.
6. Aleumdr Swimsuit
Aleumdr’s suit has a 4.5 rating from about 2,000 reviewers. It’s a solid pick for moms who want a simple, easy suit for family vacations.
Bring a light nursing cover or an open shirt if you want extra privacy while feeding.
Good to know: Size for your current bust and check the chart closely, since swimwear sizing varies by brand.
7. Three-Piece Tankini with Boy Shorts
A tankini is one of the easiest swimsuits to nurse in, even though it isn’t a nursing suit. Lift the tankini top and lower the bikini top underneath, just like the two-shirt method you might use on land.

Boy shorts give extra coverage for chasing toddlers or sitting on the sand.
Good to know: A three-piece set gives you options. Wear the bikini top alone on hot days and the tankini over it when you want coverage.
8. Daci Tankini with Skirt
Daci’s tankini has a skirted bottom and tummy-control design with a 4.4 rating. The two-piece setup makes feeding simple: lift the top, feed, and pull it back down.
The skirt offers coverage if you’d like a little more comfort in public.
Good to know: Check whether the top has built-in cups or padding so you get support while still being able to lift it.

How to nurse comfortably at the beach or pool
Find shade first. An umbrella or pop-up tent keeps both of you cool. For young babies, ask your pediatrician about the safest sun protection.
Hydrate. Sun and breastfeeding both make you thirsty, so bring a big water bottle for yourself.
Change after swimming. Sitting in a damp suit can be uncomfortable, so pack a dry nursing bra or tank for the ride home.
Bring a light layer. A swim cover-up, button-down or nursing scarf gives you privacy and sun protection while you feed.
The Nursing Mama Fashion Commandments
Twelve rules I wish someone had told me postpartum. Print them. Screenshot them. Live by them.
- Nursing bra always. Regular bras become instruments of pain the day letdown surprises you.
- Nursing pads on your body + a spare pair in your bag. Every single time you leave the house. No exceptions.
- Extra top in your bag — for YOU, not the baby. Because leaks, spit-up, and coffee-spills don’t care about your outfit plan.
- If it takes more than 5 minutes to figure out how to nurse or pump in it, it’s not the right outfit today. Feeding access is comfort. Comfort is not optional.
- Belt under the bust (empire) or below the belly with drape — never at the belly button. Your postpartum body deserves flattery, not compression.
- Comfortable waistband is non-negotiable. Elastic, wrap, or pull-on. Zippers are a Sunday-only luxury for now.
- Dark tones, prints, or textures — not thin light solids. Because letdown marks are real and you deserve clothes that don’t advertise them.
- Machine-washable everything. Dry-clean is not real-mama fashion. If it can’t survive a spit-up rinse, it’s not in rotation.
- Cross-body bag only. Hands stay free for the carrier, the toddler, the coffee, the door, the meltdown.
- Comfortable shoes always. You’re carrying a car seat and a diaper bag. This is not the season for a heel you can’t run in.
- Get dressed BEFORE the kids see you if you can. It changes the whole day — for them and for you.
- One accessory — earrings, a lip color, a scarf — counts as “put together.” That’s the whole game. You get to feel like yourself again.
Feel Your Best, Give Your Best. You Matter Too.
You deserve to enjoy the water this year, not sit on the sidelines worrying about your suit. Your body has done something amazing, and it belongs at the beach too.
Pack the snacks, grab the sunscreen, and let yourself have a good day.
You deserve to be looked after too
